Our flagship product is “Essie’s Wonder Butters” a premium 100% plant-based all-natural topical pain relief cream. “All Natural, Fast Acting Pain Reliever”. Made with Organic African Shea Butter and 14 Essential Oils that all have anti-inflammatory and pain reduction properties, along with our proprietary blend.

After back surgery in 2018 and more ensuing pain, Arlene El-Amin the sole owner of Essie Mae Enterprises LLC, began searching for an all-natural product in lieu of further surgeries and continuous injections.  Researching essential oils with anti-inflammatory and pain reduction properties seemed just right.  After months of trying new recipes, she finally created a product that was quick acting, long-lasting and did not have a heavy, putrid medicinal odor.  

After sharing her product with mostly family and some friends, Arlene was comfortable she had a winner.  Essie’s has participated in several local venues for small businesses where the product has been well received.  Essie’s has also participated in trade shows in Chicago, Atlanta and Houston.  Then along came Covid-19.  Shows were cancelled and sales declined but it deterred us not.  Almost all of our advertising has been word of mouth.

Essie’s goal in 2022 is to create various distribution outlets, increase sales and employ community residents.
